it's not 60% tax we pay on fuel, it's more like 150%. Cost of diesel pre tax = 85c Cost of diesel after tax = €2.20 2.20 - 0.85 = €1.35 in tax per litre. (1.35/0.85) x 100 = 158% #fuelprotest #ireland #diesel
