Hornets wrap up the season with season with a 9-3 win over @comets_baseball and finish in 3rd place finish in the @IHSAState 2A Finals.

With today’s win, the 2025 Hornets set the new single season win record at 32, breaking the record on 31 wins previously set in 2023.

With his stolen base in the first inning of tonight’s win over Roanoke-Benson, senior @benlapp12 becomes the new Eureka Hornet Baseball career leader at 57…….and counting. Congrats Benny Lapp!

Tonight’s Domingo Award goes to senior @benlapp12. Benny had a huge night on both sides of the ball in a 7-6 extra inning win over Lexington. A couple of web gems in CF and then on base 5 times going 4-4 with 3 runs scored, 2 RBI and a walk. Have a day Benny Lapp!

I have been blessed with the greatest coaching staff a person can dream about. But adding this guy over 10 years ago was a fantastic move. 300 Varsity wins in his years at Peoria Christian and Eureka. Congrats Coach Studebaker!

For the first time, the Birdhouse is staying home. The boys shot a 155 to secure first place at the Birdhouse Open today. Joe Eastman (T-3rd Place), Adam Blunier (T-3rd Place), John Martin (6th Place), and Mac Cooper (7th Place) all medaled for the Hornets. #HornetPride

Congrats to Luke Martin who earned medalist honors today at the Class 2A IHSA Boys Golf Regional with a smooth 71. Max Cooper and Adam Blunier also advanced to sectionals with a 84 and 86, respectively.

The Eureka boys finished 3rd at todays HOIC Tournament. Mac Cooper and Luke Martin tied for 3rd place individually with an 80. Becca Gadbois placed 8th on the girls side. #HornetPride @EHSHornets
