The entire Christian framework is built upon the Jewish one. Christianity can't exist as a standalone religion detached from Judaism. Remove its Jewish foundation, and what remains is another pagan religion. Jesus, throughout the Gospels, drew not only from the Hebrew Scriptures but also quoted the oral Torah, which later became the Talmud. His teaching assumed the Jewish understanding of God, history, covenant, law, sin, and redemption. Without Judaism, the fundamental concepts that are central to Christianity lose their meaning. Jesus’ words should not be understood in isolation from the revelation that came before Him, nor as if they replaced it. Revelation unfolds as a sequence, not as disconnected fragments. It is like a relay race: each runner receives the baton from the previous one. No runner begins ten miles from the finish line carrying no baton at all. That is why the phrase “Judeo-Christian civilization” is a historical reality. The moral, legal, and philosophical foundations of the West emerged from the Christian tradition that was built on Jewish foundations. Western civilization represents the closest humanity has come to embodying the Kingdom of God, the moral vision that emerged from the Jewish and Christian understanding of God.

"The Bible is corrupted." That was my favorite argument as a Muslim. It ended conversations before they even started. Then I asked simple questions, because I wanted to better understand this argument: What does "corrupted" actually mean? Who changed it? When? Where? How? And where is the evidence? So I started digging. I discovered that the New Testament has over 5,800 Greek manuscripts, with some fragments dating within decades of Jesus. Compare that to the works of Plato. His works survive in just a handful of manuscripts copied over a thousand years later, yet no one dismisses The Republic as "corrupted." Then I read the Quran again. Surah 5:46 says Allah gave Jesus the Gospel. So I had a dilemma: Either God gave a trustworthy Gospel to Jesus and His people... Or God failed to preserve His own revelation. Yikes. That isn't a small question. It forced me to stop repeating slogans and start examining evidence. Looking back, I didn't reject the Bible because I had disproved it. I rejected it because I was afraid it might be true. If it was true, it would cost me everything - and I knew that!  Sometimes the biggest obstacle to truth isn't a lack of evidence. It's the fear of what believing it might require from you, if it was true.
