Is it wrong to smile a bit when I read this about @mohamadfakih8 ? Normally I don’t take pleasure in someone’s downfall but he has done nothing but spew hatred towards the Jews and Israel since October 7th. So I kinda like to think of it as a little bit of karma. Next up…the revocation of his Order of Canada.

I think he just broke it to them…. But FWIW, I loved working with him while we were Heritage Ministers. He was kind to me and supportive of Ontario in our pandemic and recovery efforts. I wish him well.

From the name calling, convoy supporter who defended the other convoy supporter “ Yeah, a lot of your then constituents are dramatic, dishonest scumbags that have made allegations for which no evidence has ever been presented. ” But sure, call me names and back away from your defamation clumsily suggesting you might not even vote. Others of character might just delete their tweet but have at it. I had a front row seat in the arena, not watching from the sidelines.

I want to address the dishonest claim made here by Lyin’ Lisa MacLeod. First, I am an undecided voter. I do not support any candidate as of right now and I’m not sure if I will participate as a voter in the upcoming municipal election. I have not made any comments, either privately or publicly, that would constitute an endorsement of Alex Lawson. Second, within the last few years I have become largely apolitical. I cancelled my membership with a major political party and have otherwise been disengaged with politicians and policy makers. Lisa is a very dishonest person.

Day 11 of the One-Month #OpenSchoolDoor Campaign Invitation to the World: End the Nightmare of Afghan Women 💔🙏 @WDIAfghanistan1 and thousands of other voices shout this message every single day: “Dear World, For over 1,700 days, girls in Afghanistan have been banned from secondary school and university. Women are forbidden from working, traveling without a male guardian, visiting parks, doing sports, and even raising their voices in public. Child marriage (even for 9-year-olds) has been legalized, and beating women without breaking bones has been declared a “husband’s right.” This is Sex-Apartheid — a crime against humanity. If you remain silent, you become complicit in this nightmare. It’s time for real action. Please Wake up, world, before an entire generation of Afghan girls is silenced forever.” #OpenSchoolDoor @WDIAfghanistan1

Hey Nepean - this supporter of Alex Lawson called you dishonest scumbags.
Tyler Cybulski@tyler_cybulski

I’m sorry Lisa, I’m going to respond once more. I cannot allow you to spew this nonsense and sign off with “Anyway, good luck.” If you’re referring to Robert Swaita you’re being intentionally dishonest and you know it. He, like many Ottawa residents (including myself), attended the protest in the early days of it appearing. He, like many Ottawa residents who attended the protest (including myself), committed no offences while there. When the protest was declared an unlawful assembly many people (including myself) respected the declaration/police orders and did not return. Robert Swaita did nothing wrong. Period. You replaced the police board because you’re a spineless politician who caved into the demands of the woke mob. They’re going to milk things that never occurred for years because of people like you. “Many of my then constituents were impacted in a variety of ways and anyone Ottawa first would know that.” Seriously? That’s all you got? Yeah, a lot of your then constituents are dramatic, dishonest scumbags that have made allegations for which no evidence has ever been presented. There are thousands of security cameras in downtown Ottawa. The protest was live-streamed nearly 24/7 by dozens of YouTube channels (thousands of hours of content). Legacy media covered the event extensively. There were tens of thousands of cell phones in the immediate area. ………..to date we have not been presented with a single shred of evidence to support the widespread claims of harassment, intimidation or violence. These supposed events, numbering in the hundreds to thousands, either occurred outside of the view of thousands of cameras, or they never happened at all. Which is more likely?

If you are explaining Tyler, you are losing and your candidate could barely put up his tent before the pegs were removed. Anyway, good luck. I will forget more about Ottawa politics than you will ever know.

You have zero clue. As the then local minister I can unapologetically and definitely say it shut down a convention centre that provincial and municipal coffers needed to be open, we had to replace the police board because one member attended the unlawful assembly and we had to create funding for the businesses who could not open for extra weeks with Invest Ottawa because of the shit show that was the convoy. Many of my then constituents were impacted in a variety of ways and anyone Ottawa first would know that. If you knocked on a single door in the 2022 provincial election or the 2025 provincial and federal elections you would know its impact is still there. Anyway, good luck.
Tyler Cybulski@tyler_cybulski

The convoy didn’t close businesses. Local businesses, including our busiest mall, closed their doors because they didn’t like the politics of the people who were downtown. I visited the protest several times and can tell you that things were incredibly peaceful.
