A word on Doug King 🙌 Paid £50m for the club. Reinvested the Viktor Gyokeres and Gus Hamer money back into the squad. Big call in sacking Mark Robins and hiring Frank Lampard. Bought the CBS Arena so the club had its own stadium for the first time since 2005. A brilliant owner who had just about got everything right.

We were invited by Barwell FC by their manager Jimmy Ginnelly to go and play them in a friendly this evening. Pre match, Jimmy came over and presented us with 10 new training balls as a token gesture. We’d like to thank Jimmy and Barwell FC for their kind generosity.
