DUTCH DRUG MULE ARRESTED AT OR TAMBO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, KHAT WORTH R240 000 SEIZED The South African Police Service (SAPS) has arrested another drug mule at the OR Tambo International Airport following an intelligence-driven operation conducted this week. The suspect, a Dutch national from the Netherlands, was reportedly en route to Frankfurt, Germany, when he was intercepted by police at the airport. During the operation, police seized more than 40 kilograms of Khat concealed inside the suspect’s luggage. The drugs have an estimated street value of R240 000. The suspect is expected to appear before the Kempton Park Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 25 May 2026, on charges related to drug trafficking. The SAPS continues to intensify efforts to combat transnational organised crime and drug trafficking through intelligence-led operations at all ports of entry across the country. Over the past two years, SAPS has intercepted and arrested more than 50 drug mules at the OR Tambo International Airport.

Remember this brave young girl? Her name is Ontlametse Phalatse. She passed on at 18 years old. She was a well spoken girl who spread awareness about her rare condition that causes the body to age rapidly. I have learned of that condition through her advocacy. You are erasing her work. There is already a stigma around such disabilities and conditions. You are making it worse. This is what most Africans don't understand. Just because their countries haven't been invaded or involved, they don't understand how South African people feel. Why does the xenophobia stigma only fit when it's South Africa? The truth is, no other African country has been invaded by other Africans the way South Africa has been invaded. South Africans were so patient until everyone did as they pleased because the ANC has neglected the same people who voted for them. The reality is, South Africans are protecting their country because you are turning it into the countries you ran away from.

In an efficient country like China it’s takes weeks to verify our documents. My passport is currently with Immigration for processing. In South Africa where we have Home Affairs that is not credible it took 2 hours to verify 300 foreigners. 😭@HomeAffairsSA @GovernmentZA
