Local transparent assumptions are always ideal. That is mainly lost in marketing narratives these days. The shift towards Trust Us Bro is on the rise. Need to trend back towards local power. Local hosting, empowering network peers. @ergo_platform

@ergo_platform Some will never get there... but actual self-sovereign banks with a small barrier to entry and an easy learning curve are a goal. I have always imagined having a full node with user-friendly extensions offering a variety of tooling to be an ideal outcome for local operators.

A hackathon to increase the functionality, documentation, and tutorials around running locally hosted tradebots would be interesting. There has been a narrative around being your own bank in crypto, but a lot of functionality is still needed to have a full suite. @ergo_platform

As this is my first bear market, it’s wild to see how poorly alts perform against Bitcoin even this close to the halving. For alt season, I’m curious as to how the 100xs happens. What types of gains do you see on the daily? How quick does this usually happen? It’s going to be surreal to see alts literally skyrocket. Never really experienced it tbh. Where do you guys think we are in the cycle?

@ergo_platform The logic is that a project paid a dev to build it. That is the same off-chain logic as saying we paid our lawyers to draft and audit a legal contract. I will never understand this. If you do, let me send you something, sign it, I will fill in the rest later.

Imagine if someone recommended you sign a financial contract off-chain without the chance to read it... This is why we promote open source. I don't care if it is a wallet, a Dapp, or anything else. If you can't understand this, reread the first sentence. @ergo_platform .

It is disappointing to see SOL go down today There is a correct balance to be struck between innovation & stability; this is not it I will investigate the cause of this outage in depth later However, if SOL goes down more than twice this year, I will drop my support entirely!
