Draw shapes, then 3d shapes, put 3d shapes on 3d shapes in different orientations, put 2d things on 3d things in different orientations. Get used to those things and you'll be able to tell if you're doing something wrong so you can fix it. Everything is shapes. Just play around.

If your render isn't heavy, make the line art thick, otherwise the drawing will look flat.

@Allyphia_Sub I checked them, the work is really beautiful, but the rendering is clear... I wouldn't call this flat color They paint in light colors of almost identical shades, which may give that impression, but they have a very good understanding of values Zoom in on the clothes

@MachineM00 I recommend having a look at mum_dong 's art, they have very little shading if any along with thin lineart, but it still looks great because their lineart understands forms.
