Agree with Erik here, but we seem to have different interpretations of what ‘control atoms’ mean. @MachinePhaseSys we are actually controlling atoms enabling atoms by atom placement. That’s the sweet spot to bootstrapping molecular nanotechnology.

Good advice is abundant, great entrepreneurs seek out the best advice and mentors from both within and outside their domain and find ways to make it relevant to their unique issues. When I raised the seed round for @Blockstream we decided to make it a $21m seed round because it helped tell a story. Now at @MachinePhaseSys we are raising a $6.022m seed because we can do a lot with a little, our entire message is Size Really Matters and well that’s our favourite constant (Advogardo’s number minus a fairly large exponent).

When demonstrating what we are working on to investors building an atomic foundry prototype is hard so we use a toy robotic arm, a scientific chemical model show atoms covalently bonded and a Zoolander picture saying “It must me a billion times smaller”
