Well this at least explains why that series finale felt so incredibly half baked beyond the (admittedly wonderful) Bonrad reunion

While nice, it just means this fandom was effectively baited for 11 weeks preparing for a “Series finale ending” to the #TheSummerITurnedPretty show. Only for them to drop “Oh a movie is coming btw”. Prime is really out here taking advantage of their TSITP fandom’s hearts ugh…

@Writernelle Exactly, they couldn’t do it… so they had to go on the complete other end of the spectrum with doing too much. As they are just that powerful that the writers had to systematically go through hoops to not give them the proper HEA without the inference of it MAYBE what you wanted

They couldn’t do this so they put them in an AU and made them teen again, destroyed the og timeline, then erased their memories forever, that way they could act and live like different people and they don’t have to be engaged in this new life ever again 🙂

The fact that their next scene on the beach together, is going to be the very scene that is going to top this. Conrad confessing his feelings and spilling everything he knows including Cabo, and Belly walking away shook… #TSITP

@elizacinnamon They are both sensitive souls who try to do everything right for everyone else, in a sense putting themselves last for the sake of other people’s happiness. All the while trying to make their parent has has passed on proud and to live up to these moments they had with them.
