A wintry mix returns to northern Michigan late tonight and Saturday. Freezing rain is expected in eastern upper MI, and is likely in parts of north central and northeast lower Michigan. Significant ice accumulations are again possible, especially in the eastern UP.

Wintry mix will overspread south to north to Thurs AM into the evening with generally 0.10” to 0.25” of ice forecasted, with locally higher amts possible and up to 1” of snow/sleet. Temps will warm thru the day with above freezing temps by the evening, changing precip to rain
