Marino wanted the ball in his hands, the Dolphins wanted to run spread offense with him. He wouldn't have given the ball to TD anymore than he handed to other backs that the Dolphins had.

@td_nash Marino by a lot. Elway didn’t win a Super Bowl until they became a running team with Terrell Davis. Marino never had a run game.

Marino got to 1 and should have gotten to another the next year but Marino choked against the Patriots who then got clobbered by the Bears.

@caseybatts @td_nash don't agree at all Marino wanted the ball he didn't want to give it to backs he was running a modern offense before it was popular to throw more than run. He wouldn't have given the ball to TD any more times than he did to Abdul Jabbar (not the basketball player)

@FinznD @coastalskies904 @GinaMuscato Marino is not the sole qb with deficient talent around him in the 80s and early 90s. pre-salary cap and revenue share, no team outside of big market teams won SBs in the 80s thru until 94. LA Raiders, Redskins, Giants, 49ers, and Cowboys won every SB in that time.

Imagine Marino with Emmitt, Terrell Davis or Thurman Thomas? Marino drug Miami to the playoffs and wins on his own most the time.

Lisa Murkowski has been on the Senate floor for over ten minutes. As a member of the GOP, she's doing an EXCELLENT job of advocating for the SAVE America Act… oh wait... no, she's not. She's explaining why it's apparently TOO HARD to overcome logistical and geographical issues because of sled dogs and other things far less important than our nation's sovereignty.
