Cardiff Castle is a castle in Cardiff that was built 3,000 years ago by the Celtic druids. The castle was built to protect the city of Cardiff, which at that point in time, didn't exist. It is now a tourist attraction and also a venue that Tom Jones sometimes likes to sing at.

@sleepyserenade They don’t look very secure. And if you’re carrying a stack of prints on a handtruck, those blue or metal ones will survive any accidental fall. Once had one of the metal ones take itself down a slight hill.

@MadMissMeeks Yeah I prefer the metal / blue, plastic canisters because they’re easier to lift. The boxes always feel like they’re going to collapse from the weight of the reels

@sleepyserenade Whenever I used to screen 35mm prints of films with Marilyn Monroe, it was clear that people had been clipping frames out. Lots of splices in iconic scenes. Hope that’s not still the case.

Had to make c/o cues for every reel because the OG cues and scribed cues were less than 5 frames from the tail 😭 plus some reels had random SMPTE heads, had to label all the heads

Friends! Guess what? It’s #NationalPuppyDay so we thought we’d remind you of what Baby Dog was like when he was a Puppy. Here he is at almost 3 months old, desperately trying to get my attention. Look how patient I was with him. I was learning - developing ideas of how to play with him. Our Special Relationship had begun ❤️

Friends! I am officially in the Dog House. It’s been a difficult afternoon for Mum and the Teenage One, and I didn’t help matters…. The Teenage One burnt something on the cooker, and it got very smoky in the kitchen. The smoke alarm went off and Baby Dog started crying because it hurt his ears. Mum opened the kitchen window to let the smoke out, whilst trying to stop the smoke alarm going off. She was then trying to calm Baby Dog, stop the oil from smoking on the top of the cooker, and checking the Triplets were nowhere near the kitchen. Guess what I did? I’m ashamed to say I jumped out of the window. I didn’t mean to - it was instinct. Then I led Mum a ‘right merry dance’ as she put it. She ran out the front to get me, and I ran round the back and jumped the fence into the back garden. Mum ran into the garden and I jumped the fence into next door’s garden. Etc etc. Eventually Mum rattled my food bowl and I came back. I know I was very, very naughty, and I’m sorry. I don’t know what came over me! 🙀 #Caturday

@AngieBeatDown Congrats! Completely envious. Still waiting for Ophthalmology surgery in Cardiff. Was told waiting list is 52 weeks. Currently, I’ve waited 62 weeks with no hint of a date (other than ‘spring’). Hope your surgery goes well and that your recovery is smooth.
