My personal favorite was 'Florida man attempts to kill another with Kindness'. He had a machete in his car that he had named Kindness, even had the name written on it. Man was prepared with a joke for the day he was going to murder a stranger. I respect the dedication to the bit.

@pirooooon3 The nature of how America is structured im addition too the shear size of the country there is no good way to answer this question. I will say he has more support than most media outlets let on, andon a personal level I'd say I suplort about 70% of what he does.

@JPRanger5 @romly2023 Many really loved games have kept Honorifics, such as Persona 4. I wouldn't mind the return of an editors note for certain words or honorifics though just to add the context, but by and large they there isn't a need to change as much as the localizers do.

@romly2023 Tsundere is basically a loanword in English at this point. Honorifics while not actually part of English are still understood by most viewers. There is a lot of Japanese only concepts that have leaked over to English anime audiences that its safer to not localize everything.

ツンデレを "fragile male ego" はちょっとなぁ。最近のX見てると、訳す訳さないの判断も含めてAI翻訳はかなり優秀だ。と言ってもミスもまだまだある。こういう目覚めちゃってる外人雇って翻訳するより、英語できる日本人がAI使いつつ翻訳の方がよほど元のニュアンスを活かしてフラットに訳せると思う
