MAIN LEAKS! Initial leak overnight 3/7 with new leaks into 3/8. Grand Canyon and Mineral Point. The area includes several businesses and large multifamily dwellings. There are traffic impacts on Mineral Point Rd as well with lane closures and work in proximity to bus stops.

Post 2 🚧The existing water main is marked and ready to be cut. Branden and Jesse attach the pipe cutter down in the pit while Zach up top pumps air that activates the cutter to press its sharp teeth tighter and tighter around the pipe until it breaks! SPLASH!

POST 1 🚧WU Crew team Zach, Andy, Jesse, Branden, and Nick are out at South Hill and Whitney Way today replacing a leaky 6" valve section. While the new valve waits up top, Branden and Jesse clean the adjoining water main pipe and measure where to cut.
