Administrative assistant for the city believe her feelings trump the rights of the citizens.
In this tense encounter, an independent journalist enters city offices to exercise a basic legal right: inspecting the public records index. Under Washington state law (RCW 42.56.070), this document is required to be available for public inspection. It’s not a favor; it’s the law.
Enter Sabrina Costik, an administrative assistant who claims to be "brand new" but is already attempting to rewrite the Constitution based on her personal feelings.
The exchange highlights a growing and dangerous trend in public service—the idea that personal "traumas and triggers" override the civil rights of the public. Throughout the video, Sabrina argues that:
Her "comfort level" should dictate where a citizen stands.
Her "liberties" are being violated by a camera in a government building.
Recording her is "incredibly rude," effectively prioritizing social etiquette over the First Amendment.
The situation required the intervention of Deputy Chief Matt McKnight of the Chehalis Police Department. In a masterclass of de-escalation and legal clarity, McKnight had to explain the hard truth to his own staff: when you are a public servant in a public building, you do not have a "reasonable expectation of privacy" while performing your duties.
McKnight—who is currently campaigning for Lewis County Sheriff—remained professional, but the core issue remains: Why are public employees being put behind counters without a fundamental understanding of the Bill of Rights?
As far as McKnight, he is running for sheriff in 2026 and his understanding and respect for the rights of the citizens is everything you would want in county sheriff.
That said, as far as Sabrina, when "I’m uncomfortable" becomes a tool to suppress transparency, the public loses.

A doordasher in Jacksonville, FL was pulled over by the police for a taillight and ended up like this😳🤬
Tiara Young, 34, was pulled over because her taillights were not illuminated, according to her arrest report. Her mother and sister said Young was kneed in the eye by the arresting officer and that portions of her braids were pulled from her scalp during the struggle.
Young's sister posted cellphone video of the encounter to social media, saying it shows excessive force by Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Officer B.M. Magyar.
In the video recorded by Young, an officer can be heard repeatedly ordering her to roll her window down farther and to step out of the car.
"Ma'am, step out of the car," the officer says in one clip.
Young responds, "What do you need me to step out of the car for?"
The officer replies, "Because I'm requesting you to."
Police said Young rolled the window down about an inch and refused to lower it further, the report states. The officer wrote that after he explained the reason for the stop, Young turned on her taillight and stared at him.
The report says the officer asked for Young's driver's license, but she questioned why and searched through multiple handbags without producing one. The officer then ordered her to get out of the vehicle, according to the report.
After Young exited, the conversation intensified as the officer repeatedly asked for her date of birth, according to the video. At one point, the officer tells Young to put her hands behind her back. Police say she did not follow commands.
Young was charged with resisting an officer without violence, according to the arrest report.

I feel terrible for some of these Uber drivers. This is why you can't get an Uber in hood. You get people that act like this and put this Uber driver though all this stress and drama.
Credit to this Uber driver for not backing down. No surprise that immediately the threat of harm or car jacking comes into play. But the Uber driver was sharp enough to remind him that all of his personal information has already been shared with Uber when he opened his account. Getting that info to the police would be a snap.
Sure mad the thug think twice about doing anything.

This woman from NYC is proudly mocking other people while bragging that she lives in government housing and pays 50 cents a month in rent, while also claiming that other women’s boyfriends are sexually involved with her even though they live in expensive homes.
It’s crazy how backwards some people’s priorities are. She’s showing off a new wig and fresh nails while bragging about living in poorly run housing projects plagued by trash, rats, drug addicts sleeping in the hallways, and apartments that are falling apart.

Bodycam from April 4, 2023 at Kroger (318 Mall Blvd), Savannah, GA. Group of ~6 juveniles damaged items (incl. wine bottles), ignored repeated employee & officer warnings to leave, lounged on furniture, and escalated to physical resistance. 3 arrested on felony obstruction & disorderly conduct charges. Separate incident from larger 2025 swarms or other ‘6 teens’ cases.
Absolutely disgusting behavior by the 6 juveniles!
Can you see the blatant disregard and disrespect for law enforcement officers?
