@RedsScoutTeam Couldn’t agree more. Playing on the Reds Scout Team was hands-down the best decision I made for my baseball career. Everything is intentional and built around preparing players for the draft. If you’re a MW kid with real draft aspirations, there’s no better situation to be in.

This post has been a long time coming. Lots of talk on social media from up and coming programs who have flash in the pan success and label themselves as something special. We’ve been around in one form or another for 20+ years. 22 years in Jupiter. More playoff appearances than we care to count. 2x 3rd place finishes. All with nothing but Midwest kids, selected by our Major League scouting staff based on potential future draft value. Hundreds of draft picks. Many major league players. This is what we do! We’re not a travel team. We are the definition of a scout team. This past year we finished pool play as the #4 seed and advanced to the Sweet 16. All of our pitchers were 90+ with 5 guys touching 94+. We had 4 hitters on the All Tournament team. We will likely have multiple players drafted off this team. All this to say, if you’re from the Midwest and want to play for the best representation of a scout team, with a long track record of team and individual success you’re crazy to go anywhere else. Want to be considered for the MLB draft? Why play anywhere else? Not committed to a school yet? Why play anywhere else? We lead the Midwest in pro and college contacts and it’s not even close. There are a lot of charlatans out there who will gladly take your money and promise things that they can’t possibly ever hope to deliver. Our experience is free and speaks for itself over a 20+ year period. #redlegs

After careful consideration, I have decided to reclassify from the 2027 class and become draft eligible in 2026. My family and I feel like this decision is in the best interest of my development both on and off the field and I’m excited to take the next steps in my career.
