At a glance shows wrong city temp and NO option to change 5. Weather widget won't work when location is OFF 6. After recent update when I swipe notif panel, screen distorts.

Google has intentionally excluded full blur effects from Pixel 6 and 7 series in Android 17 QPR1 Beta, likely due to hardware and battery constraints. These devices will still get stability and bug‑fix updates, but the visual polish is reserved for newer Pixels.

@dv_ghil @Google @GooglePixel_US I got it on my pixel 8 pro, and google refused to fix it for free. It was the same July 5 update. Tried fighting with google support, and nothing helps. Got quoted fuckall 20k INR, for a phone with an exchange value of 30k.

So I'm using the Google Pixel 7 Pro, and recently I got an update; Android version: 17 Android security update: July 5, 2026 And this morning, around 6am, green line appeared, I didn't do anything with my phone, and suddenly this happened after update @Google @GooglePixel_US

@GooglePixel_US @Google is mocking their customers in India. I went to their authorized service center to replace battery of Pixel 7a, and they told me, your screen also have little scratch on corner and we will replace that too. Pixel 7a is garbaged. Got new @SamsungMobileUS.

@ks_kersai To some degree I had it on stock as well, but it feels worse on graphene. Lineage was a near perfect experience. I think either the pixel 7 line just has some awkward issues, or my particular unit has some strange battery degradation

grapheneOS has been a rough experience to say the least. not sure about others, but I get constant overheating, slowdowns and bad battery life on my pixel 7. I'll hold out until lineageOS jumps ship to android 17
