Dreams do come true! July 2023 I attended my first HBCU camp. I met a coach there that completely shifted my outlook on this game I love so much. I had to play for her. Had a chit chat with the big man….I knew I would have to put in the work. Two years later….I am beyond grateful to announce my commitment to Alabama State University to further my education and play the sport I love. First, Thank you God, I wouldn’t be where I am without him. Thank you to Coach Chad, Coach Eddie, Coach Dom, Coach Pete and all of the other coaches that help behind the scenes! Y’all have pushed me to bet on myself and to want to be the best on the field all the time. Thank you to all of my coaches over the years for helping guide me to this point. A hugeeee thank you to my mom. Through the late nights and early mornings and all of the rough days in between, you have been nothing short of an amazing role model, mom, and best friend. A huge huge thank you to Coach Stephanie and Coach Meghan. I wouldn’t be at this point with my pitching if it wasn’t for y’all two so thank you! Also, a huuuugggeee Thank you to Mr.Tray. You’ve guided me through this process and I am more than grateful! Finally thank you to my amazing teammates. Without y’all I wouldn’t have the love for the game that I do now. My last Fall SZN had come to an end! Very surreal to even say that. It ended with a 💥 with us punching our ticket! Three things I will remember. 1. Our team pulled ourself out of a sticky situation and ended closer, and more resilient than ever! 2. My coaches really listened to me. Not often you find coach’s that will tweak their approach to make you better. 3. I am SO happy I took a chance and landed at the school I wanted all along!! Next up HIGH SCHOOL with a side of extreme off season training!
