@JordanMaison Yeah the amount of people I’ve seen say they saw “Shawn Levy” and it ruined it for them was a bit surprising to me. I agree he’s not the most exciting choice, but I also haven’t seen a movie of his I didn’t like. I’m willing to give him a chance with this!

Hot take: Safe? Maybe. But sorry nerds, you’ll never convince me that Shawn Levy is “bad.”

Not a big fan of Mystique's costume in Doomsday, but the amount it's been discussed on here vs. how much people will give a second thought to it while watching the movie opening weekend is one of the many differences between Twitter and real life.

@TheEricGoldman People (more so general public) don’t go to every one like they used to (and there has felt like there is way more stuff in the past few years so I kinda get it), but they are still overall popular so I think it’s funny when people are surprised this stuff happens

The next two years are gonna be so funny because “the comic book movie era is finished!” buuuuuuuuuuut…. (And yeah, the comic book movie era has peaked for sure and there are certainly more box office disappointments now, but there are some inescapable Very Big Deals coming)

This is actually insane considering how this movie has no IMAX screens, only dropped its first trailer yesterday, months of radio silence & alleged rumors, and apparently a movie people aren’t interested in is having this sort of motion

This new media deal could be really exciting for next season if they do things right. As long as they don’t carve up their rights to chase top dollar, we could see canes socials producing highlights and clips way quicker and through their dedicated channels. The use of NHL EDGE and other tools will give greater insight into the game. The canes behind the storm series will see greater production and hopefully more content like that should be made available. I just have a feeling based on the way the league is positioning this that it’s more focused on giving greater reach to marketing and selling the media that will be the focus for teams.

i think the biggest mistake was making it the exact same as cinema con, it’s known that most trailers at these events are exclusive only and the one that gets out online is different, instead they let the only description of the movie and it’s trailer out there for months and we get the exact same thing

@NikkoCaruso I know! The thing, is I do have some stuff I feel “meh” about, but there are still other things I’m excited for and I’m interested in seeing what they are going to do I with it!

a comic book crossover event come to life i know a lot of people will hate this. for me, there have been so marvel movies idk what they can do to excite me anymore besides this i get to see Avengers, F4, & X-Men vs Doom. i can’t help but to be into it #AvengersDoomsday

Why am I lowkey considering getting Avengers tickets? The “Infinity Vision” isn’t playing in any of my main theaters but there’s one I could go to, only problem is the screening is early in the morning so I’ll have to get up and drive for a long time just to get there 💀
