Unbelievable, first day of practice yesterday. Grateful for all of our players how hard they work and what they bring to the court daily. Had the privilege of running into Lieutenant Colonel Elliott and his outstanding group of young ROTC members. Both groups ran into each other early morning at the Cal track. Thank you to all of you for your dedicated service to this country. We will be inviting every armed service veteran, and current service member within a 300 mile radius out this season to a game. Look forward to seeing each one of you individually at the Haas of Pain!!!

Devastated to hear the news of Coach Abdur-Rahim's passing. 5 years ago we sat together in Atlanta for first time head coach conference. What an outstanding person and phenomenal coach. Deepest condolences to the Abdur-Rahim family and the USF team team and community.

Great to have @jaylontyson back on campus as he prepares for the @nba draft. Jaylon is all about winning. He came to @cal with a workmanlike mentality and could not be kept out of the gym. Had a great diet. Worked hard in weight room. He just finished a dozen private workouts with NBA teams. Whoever drafts JT is getting a leader, a winner, and a great teammate.
