Malnutrition remains a critical public health challenge affecting not just children, but entire communities.
In response, FINDEF, in partnership with Solidarités International (SI) @Solidarites_Int and with support from the French Embassy (AAP- Aide Alimentaire Program), implemented a school feeding programme across Anka, Gusau, Maru, and Talata Mafara in Zamfara State.
During the 2024/2025 academic session:
🍽️ 59,514 meals were provided
👧🏽 2,824 learners supported
Beyond meals, this initiative strengthened schools and communities, enhancing hygiene practices, improving food preparation standards, and equipping school teams with tools to better support and track learners.
The impact?
Increased school enrollment, improved participation, and better learning outcomes for children.
Because when children are nourished, they are empowered to learn, grow, and thrive.
