🟦Today, the WELEAD Africa team had the honour and privilege of hosting a courtesy visit from the Deputy Ambassador of the @NLinZimbabwe , Mr. Ilyaas Sherally. 🇳🇱🇿🇼 The visit created a valuable moment of connection and reflection. It provided an opportunity for him to engage with our Regional Director, @namataik_ , and for us to formally introduce our newly appointed Interim Country Manager, @GodsFlower_ . The exchange was warm, insightful, and reaffirmed the importance of strong partnerships in advancing youth-leadership. Our discussions spotlighted the work WELEAD Africa continues to champion with young people in Zimbabwe and across the region, particularly our commitment to youth leadership development, civic engagement, and amplifying young voices. We also reflected on the meaningful collaboration under the #Free2Express project, which was supported by the Dutch Embassy in Zimbabwe. Through this initiative, we proudly worked alongside @MagambaNetwork to create safe and creative platforms for young people to freely express themselves, engage in civic dialogue, and strengthen their participation in public life.
