Today‘s event marked the 8th regional workshop to disseminate the Gender and Human Rights Toolkit. It has been a great day discussing the links between gender, human rights and organized crime.

My favourite time of the year! It is such an honour to spend two days with such knowledgeable women.

Today on the International Day for the Prevention of & Fight against Transnational Organized Crime (TOC), I am thinking of the brave women working to #StopOrganizedCrime who I met at the UNTOC COP.

This week our first National Meeting of the Network of Women in Law and Policy against Organized Crime took place in Ghana The meeting resulted in concrete recommendations on increasing women's engagement in the development and implementation of #OrganizedCrime strategies 🙏🇩🇪

Today we hosted the first National Meeting for the Network of Women in Law and Policy against Organized Crime in Ghana. To think that just last year we were organising our first regional event and we are now contributing to the development of national OC strategies!

Key new UN resolution adopted during #CrimeCOP12 confirms the need to: 💬 consider organized fraud a serious crime 💬 mainstream gender and human rights perspective in national strategies against #TOC 💬 close gaps in the criminalization of crimes that affect the environment
