In your opinion, what was the worst moment in rock history?

Probably Alice Cooper. But that’s because he has more albums out than most. But Iron Maiden and Jimmy Buffett have to be way up there and close to tying first place with Alice. I own everything other bands have done, including newer releases, (such as Night Ranger and Stryper), but even without owning everything he’s done, it’s hard to beat the sheer number of albums and releases by someone like Alice Cooper, who has been making music more than half a century.

It’s imperative that we revert to STANDARD, not Daylight time, for two reasons, one of which you may have never considered. You know the first: solar noon is closest to 12 o’clock all year. That means an equal number of hours before and after noon each day. This also means earlier sunrises which are significantly better for establishing a healthy circadian rhythm. The second reason is that nearly ONE THIRD of US counties are in the wrong timezone. A significant swath of the country isn’t only an artificial hour ahead because of daylight time… but TWO HOURS ahead of true solar time. Year-round daylight time, especially without recalibrating time zones, would establish this error permanently, affecting millions of Americans. We should be letting the Sun dictate the day the way God made it. Arbitrary, artificial tampering would be worse for us all. Fix the time zones and affix standard time.

Last job I had, I was there 16 years. The company split and they had a series of layoffs. I made it through a year of regular layoffs without getting cut…until I didn’t. LOL But they gave me a great severance package and treated me well. I’d consider going back if they ever reached out and had an opening for me. And as of next week, I will have been at my current job 7 years. I fully expect I’ll make the 10 year mark here.

@lucyshow11 @KathleenWinche3 It’s a choke. It limits the air intake into a carburetor. That creates a vacuum that pulls more fuel into the engine. My grandfather’s truck had one when I was a kid. I was told it was used for cold starts. I’ve only ever used one on an old lawn mower.

No. But I edited a book on Tarot for a friend of mine. You’d think I’d know Tarot from having done that, but I don’t. LOL. I was focused on actually doing the editing job more than reading the content in context. I give readings with playing cards, though, (which pre-date Tarot both in existence and for divination, and which was used as the foundation for the creation of the Tarot deck). I have a few Tarot decks that I bought just because the artwork on rhem was really cool.

Well, for my 4th birthday, I got an Underdog bank because Underdog was my favorite cartoon character at that time, (though the cartoon’s first run was before I was born). Other Saturday morning cartoons I enjoyed most besides Underdog were the Looney Tunes ones, with Daffy Duck being my favorite of the Looney Tunes characters. Not sure if that shows my age, since Underdog aired before I was born and Looney Tunes was even before that, and all I caught were those cartoons In syndication. But there you go.
