The rough part of online dating as a woman was being aware that for a lot of guys, if I'm cute and not a bitch, they're happy & wanna see me again. This ties into what women often complain about on dates: men not asking us many or any questions. Entire dates would end where the guy hadn't gotten to know me at all... but was excited to see me again 😅 It's like a lot of men lack the ability or even desire to discern compatibility. For me, a guy being cute & nice is not enough for me to want to see him again. Cuz this guy mentioned people who don't own a TV are weird. That guy was a materialistic yuppie. This guy was super fussy & going on about his Scotch collection & I'm just not the girl for him 😅 That guy's favorite show was The Office & you might as well slap a sign on your head that says "Not For Liz" at that point 😂 Then the guy would be shocked & upset that I didn't want to see him again. But if he knew me better, he probably wouldn't want to see me again either 🤷‍♀️ To be fair, women's politeness probably doesn't help. I didn't announce I disliked The Office or didn't own a TV. But a few basic questions might have led to an answer from me that turned the guy off! He just never bothered to ask...

If your partner told you - absent terminal cancer, etc - that they "hated the grind" and were no longer willing to work, would you remain in a relationship with them? Assume that this person would be fine managing the home, and has access to a military pension of $12K/yr.

Fine, I’ll piss some people off: The “Fix” must be proper discipline for violating the rules. I get it, it’s cool as hell, but when you allow these things to slide, everyone starts thinking their dumb idea will slide, too, and soon you get a flurry of the dumbest ideas possible being executed. It ends in fireballs, mass casualties, congressional inquiries & days of news cycles. They don’t need to lose their flight status or go to jail, but they do need to be an example of what not to do…not an example that says the rules don’t actually apply.

The real story here is that the Democrats were so desperate to capture the vote of actual men with normal testosterone levels that they nominated a guy with an SS Nazi tattoo, a history of misogyny and bizarre online sexual comments, and a record of sexual assault. After their foray with the masculinity of Fancy Tim Walz, that was the best they could do. The Democrat Party is toxic to actual men.

@BradRTorgersen Hell, my Challenger, which I love, didn't have any spare. Just stop-leak and a pump. I bought my own spare. I've had tires blow out on other cars that stop-leak wouldn't have helped.

I have hated donut spares since forever. I get that it's a space and weight economy thing, especially for sedans and compacts. But given the prices on almost any car these days? I want a gosh-damned full-size spare in my trunk.

I've never worked with a woman who lost interest in sex because her husband wasn't good in bed. If that was the issue, it would be easy to fix, as you explain. Most say the opposite - that they are confounded about their lack of desire because once they join in, it feels good, it's loving and connecting. And yet, they just don't feel like it.

It's not about me personally. It's mostly a response to the way a lot of men on X talk about sex. Like it's the only reason for marriage. Like it's the only reason they deal with women. Like it's a need, their reason for living. It's currently fun for me to go against that narrative.
