The Mario RPGs are great "baby's first" RPGs, as they were indeed my entryway into them, that's probably why so many people enjoy them exclusively and don't want to delve into uncharted territory

When I was younger I always wanted to make my own cartoon despite having no artistic skills. But seeing current cartoon creators having to wrangle their rabidly autistic fanbases back into submission every other day its not a position I envy anymore
