Thank y’all so much, I did not expect this to blow up the way it did. 🙏 The Liquid DOM repo is now at 930 stars and I truly believe it is one of the best resources for people to learn about WebGPU, shaders, rendering, SDFs, scene graphs, layout engines or progressive API design. It is a couple thousand lines of no-slop, well-documented, readable and zero dependency code, separated into packages by integration layer. Open source is not dead. If you want to learn about computer graphics by doing, and have proof of work contributing a solution to an interesting problem, I invite you to contribute one of the following features (or whatever you want really, but these are guaranteed to get merged if they hit the bar, and an explanation of why if they don’t). - Layer masking / clipping. Pick an html or glass layer and mask inside our outside by another layer. This will require some careful design and good understanding of the scene representation and internals. - Parametrizable height profile. The current options are fairly rigid and only allow control of the bezel width. We should e.g. let people control how smoothly the bezel blends into the flat top surface. We should also let people use different height profiles for content vs backdrop refraction if they need to. - Backdrop color effects. Let people apply a color matrix to the glass backdrop. We can’t go crazy with the defaults because we are mapping SDR -> SDR, unlike iOS, but end users can tune this to adapt glass effects to their setup. - Better dispersion. The current shader only separates red, green and blue components. This is simple enough, but not physically accurate and results in subpar visual quality on closer inspection. - Gaussian blur performance. The current solution uses a separable 13 tap-equivalent blur pass + downsampling, which is a very good tradeoff between quality and cost and behaves well when animating the blur radius, but cheaper methods exist. If you contribute this, it needs to come with benchmarks. - Interaction glow effect. iOS applies a subtle glow on interaction which ripples outward when you release or move your finger beyond a certain threshold. This will require a good eye for detail but should be simple to implement otherwise. - Contribute a high level UI library as a separate package built on the current foundations. Button groups, switches, menus complete with interaction effects like squash and stretch and jiggle, which are already enabled by the low level foundation but aren’t directly implemented by it.

Hi @thsottiaux Codex Desktop remote control is connected successfully: my Mac mini is authorized, reachable, and has existing Codex threads/projects. But on the controlling Mac, the Home/project list still only queries `hostId=local` or `undefined`. There is no visible host switcher in the Home UI, so remote projects from the Mac mini never appear. Looks like remote control works as a device-control channel, but remote project browsing is either not exposed in the current UI or missing. Codex Desktop remote control is connected successfully: my Mac mini is authorized, reachable, and has existing Codex threads/projects. The Codex remote control feature from the MacBook Air to the Mac Mini is extremely unstable. I’ve repeatedly removed and re-added the remote connection, but it still keeps showing as offline.
