This works well because Filters are applied in real time, like WMI queries with Group Policy Whenever possible, please use Filters instead of groups for targeting in Intune. They are way faster, less management, and better for the service Here's the doc: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/intune/i…

I won't get into the absurdity of Microsoft not giving us something like Intune to manage servers that isn't Group Policy... But I really like MDE settings management which allows us to define Defender policies for servers from Intune If you want to use this, here's a short 🧵
