at work there was a new guy and we were chatting, he asked where i was from so i said “new jersey”, he’s like “long way from home” and i respond “you’re telling me, i walked” jokingly, but in a dry tone. later this man asked one of my coworkers if i was a pathological liar !!

Today a student had a seizure in class. Once we got them stable they told us they had to work an overnight shift, didnt get to sleep or eat & went right to class at 8am. Their body reached its limit.What the hell are we doing. the kids arent ok. we arent ok. this shit isnt normal

When I saw your Dm, email, or text. I was parenting, or multi-tasking and I thought you deserved my full attention. Then my executive functioning made me forget. Now I'm anxious because I didn't do it timely and put it off more cause it needs to be perfect now.

i've been conducting my dissertation interviews with black girls in middle school. one question i ask is where do they feel the most like they belong when at school. so many girls have mentioned the library, so i went to check it out with one participant.

We’re in an extended stay that has a full size fridge and an induction cooktop but no oven so we got the toaster oven out of storage and had the crockpot here with us already.
