@KatieCPhilips You're being disingenous here by describing your business as "small". You must employ a significant amount of staff, as 1.1 million businesses (the smallest) will see either no change or a DECREASE in their national insurance bill.

My husband has a small business that’s not going to survive this budget. We have 2 small children who aren’t in schools yet but the changes are going to impact us within 2 years. My husband is Canadian & wants us to move to Canada where he thinks we’ll still have a chance at some prosperity. I’m so angry this government has done this to me, brought in such destructive policies that have destroyed my life in this way. I don’t want to leave my country, my home, my family but it looks like I’m left with no choice. Thanks Labour, thanks Starmer. My heart will always be in Britain 🇬🇧.

This is awful. The obsession with spaceship stadiums, which pertain to be special but are homogenous, at the expense of nuance, tradition and art, is depressing.

This right-wing, anti-woke, pro-colonialism and anti-trans rhetoric may appeal to the core Tory membership. But it won’t appeal to ordinary voters. Kemi Badenoch is offering even more of the same, failed mentality that led to a crushing General Election defeat. 🙃🙄
