Hey legends! I have huge news, bad news, and great news… 🥳 The huge news… My YouTube course is FINALLY here (about a year after I first started working on it 😅). If you want to grow your channel much faster, make incredible content, and earn a lot of money with YouTube - I think you’re going to love it. It’s a complete step by step blueprint with everything I know, and so it works for both beginners and more advanced creators. It covers EVERYTHING you need to build a hugely successful channel… including storytelling, video editing, hiring, going viral, getting big sponsors, making more money, and SO much more... I'll show you how my channel really blew up, so you can copy my proven strategies. That way, you can get paid to make videos about whatever you find interesting (and you don’t even have to show your face if you don't want!) The bad news… It’s not cheap. I realised I had 2 choices: build a standard course to sell to everyone… or create something really premium, where I literally hold nothing back, give away all my templates, systems & secrets, and offer personalized support. So the great news… if you are serious about growing your own channel, and you have some money to invest… I truly believe I’ve created the best system that will allow you to do that. And I’ll personally guide you every step of the way. So if you wanna learn more & join my inner circle... and get daily personalized support from me to grow your channel... Check out the link in my bio. (You will get lifetime access to the course for just a one-time payment, the recurring part is just for ongoing personalized support). PS. If you don’t have the money to invest... I’ll still be posting here on X for free, documenting lessons I've learnt from growing MagnatesMedia to 1,500,000+ subscribers. To be transparent: there is absolutely a selfish motivation that if I help you enough, you may want to join my inner circle in future, and get my full system with personalized help. BUT even if you have zero intention of ever buying from me, you can still enjoy all the free tips I’ll be sharing on X. :) However if you are serious about growing your channel right now, then check out the link in my bio to see if it's a good fit for you. If it is, I look forward to chatting with you inside the community and helping to grow your channel! :)

"How do you keep good editors?" (recent question in my course community) #1 Progression path for them where they can see pay rising over time - you don't need to give them huge money right away, but it can increase the longer you work together. Maybe even set out for them after x videos the price will increase to this... So they can see if they stick with you the money will rise. #2 Small profit sharing - like a small percent of videos they work on ad revenue. I don't think you NEED to do this, but 5% of ad revenue could make them feel much more invested in the channel and wanting to work with you specifically. #3 Ask them what they value - a lot of them may like the flexibility of work hours, or having more creative control etc. It's not always about money, so it's good to understand what they want so that they're not making decisions purely based on prices. If your role offers what they want, they're obviously more likely to want to stay. #4 Make a contract - if you can guarantee them a certain amount of work, you could get them to agree they won't take on other projects that affect that work. As if you can guarantee to have enough for them, no real need for them to look elsewhere. #5 Find missionaries not mercenaries - people who love making art rather than being purely money focused. There are definitely plenty of editors who would enjoy working on videos like yours. Just gotta find the right people, then build a good partnership with them once you find them.

What is an evergreen video & why is it SO important? Most people are stuck in the social media hamster wheel. 🛞 They have to keep posting constantly or their channel dies and their revenue stops. But it doesn't have to be like that. Evergreen videos are videos that timeless. They are just as relevant in a year as they are right now. There's nothing specifically dating the video to this current time period, and it's a topic people will still care about in future. This is the direct opposite of trying to catch trends, fads and current news. Don't get me wrong: those absolutely can get views... but people quickly move on and the content dies. It's disposable. I would much prefer that the work I do today is still growing my channel & making money years from now. That way you actually feel like you're building something long-term, and when you stop uploading it won't all just come crashing down. (This is why YouTube is sometimes referred to as 'digital real estate' - evergreen videos are long-term assets). Because when you have a whole library of quality evergreen videos people can go back and watch any time, and YouTube is still recommending them YEARS after posting... that's when you truly feel like your channel is working for you, rather than you working on your channel. It gives you more freedom to make content you actually want to make. As you actually are earning passive income. That's why when people ask me: 'you haven't posted in a month, are you not stressed?' 😅 Honestly no. One of my most profitable months ever on YouTube I uploaded 0 videos - it was just YouTube pushing my older stuff. You can see on this Coca-cola video video I made; it was uploaded January 2022, but even in July 2024 it's getting many thousands of views every day and earning money. It keeps growing over time. So... consider what topics your audience will still find relevant even a year or two from now. And when writing/planning the video, just imagine nobody can watch it for a year. That way you'll "future-proof" the video so people can still it enjoy it for a long time to come... Because if you do this well, there really will be new people discovering it for a long time to come.

I previously won the Skool Games, setting their new highest record. I had no sales calls or paid ads. Almost all sales were just from 1 YouTube video. But I did A LOT wrong. Learn from my mistakes if you want to earn more money... 🧵

The king himself @MagnatesMedia just dropped a new video on Thomas Edison , it’s a mixture of 3D animation editing and the classic Magnatesmedia editing story telling style well all know, fell in love with and even inspired some of us! 🥰🔥

Either way, if you want to build serious wealth with YouTube, think how you can build a brand rather than constantly chasing trends & new niches. When you build a brand, the work you do compounds. Whereas generic faceless channels you have to keep starting over. Good luck! 🫡

Branded channels work so well because they combine the best elements of "faceless youtube automation" with the best elements of "traditional creator channels". ✅ Viewing YouTube as a business, where you build a team to help you. So you’re not doing all the work to make content yourself & it's much more scalable as it's not reliant on one person being on camera. (Like automation channels). ✅ Building a connection with your audience & actually building a recognizable/quality brand people come back to. So the audience is more invested and thus you can setup lots of other revenue streams such as sponsors & your own products. (Like creator channels do). Best of both worlds. And with branded channels, any niche can work, which means you get to work on something you actually like & enjoy. You still get the privacy of faceless channels. But you get the moat of creator channels where you can't just be easily copied, as the audience is attached to your specific brand. More info 🧵👇

When you spend ages perfecting a cool sequence in your video, but its 37 mins into the vid and will make no difference to retention.

💸 5 ways to make more money with your YouTube channel right now: 1. Take your successful content & dub it into other languages. 2. Reach out to sponsors rather than waiting for them come to you. (Think which brands fit your audience best + look at which brands are already sponsoring channels in your niche). 3. Lookup relevant affiliate programs and add links to your description. This could be anything mentioned in the video, or affiliate links to equipment/tools you use to make videos. You'll get paid every time someone buys through your link with no extra work from you. 4. Make community posts sharing old videos of yours with a message of why they should go watch. Immediate boost in views = more ad revenue. 5. Stop scrolling, and go make more videos.

@DocuSodes @Naick16 Of course, no hard feelings. And yeah it seems these days no matter what you post on YouTube, someone is going to call it AI. 😂

@MagnatesMedia @Naick16 You are absolutely right, I should not have made false AI claims. Those types of false claims on my channel annoy me, so I should have known better. I've grown accustomed to never having you respond to me and I made a poor judgement call in saying that. I hope you can forgive me.

The whole game of YouTube is really about getting the right talent. If you had the right scriptwriter, voiceover artist, editor & thumbnail designer... you could be making world-class videos with very little work from you. Spend more time to learn the skill of hiring.

Still, if you are selling your own product/service, I hope this is useful. A lot of this is fairly simple, but can be easy to overlook when you're spending lots of time on actually building your product.

Do I regret not doing these things sooner? Honestly no. It was already very intense dealing with a big influx of students right away. And I think it was better for it to be staggered rather than even more people join at once. It would've been too much to manage.
