@MagnetoCane @CanesHockey92 That whole thing was so bizarre. I'm not sure who was more disappointed that the front office didn't move KK at the deadline: KK or Rod. But that whole scene made it look like both of them just shrugged and reset the countdown to the buyout window instead.

Starting to think Kotkaniemi has already played his last game for the Canes, which is fine. If they had any intention of using him as playoff depth they wouldn't have him practicing as a defenseman for weeks while he's only played 1 game since Feb. 6. If they need...

Back home following their three-game road trip, it's a practice day for the #Canes. A weekend set against the Devils and Canadiens awaits. Shayne Gostisbehere, who has been out of action due to a lower-body injury since Mar. 6, is skating with the group. He's working with Alexander Nikishin once again. Brandon Bussi is in the "day before starter's crease." Just curious, did you watch the game? Because if you did and you think they lost because of Andersen I would suggest a TV upgrade. they make 4K these days

@AGoldFan 43-18 shots on goal and lost by 2. Not even counting the empty. That is pathetic. This organization refuses to value the goalie position. There have been moves to be made over the last 5 years. This year included. They have done nothing. Feel bad for this core of players.

@Blank_Takes I also find it hysterical how last year our special teams and power-play couldn’t do crap and everyone complained. Now it’s just find something different to complain about. Even though we been riding near the top the entire season of the Meteo

This will come off as negative, and it truly isn't meant to be. Merely informative. But #CarolinaCulture has now been outscored 5-15 in its last 5 games at 5v5. If you expand to their last 10 games, the count is 18-26.
These are putrid marks over a decent sample size. The special teams have been carrying the load. If the Powerplay ever dries up, you're probably in some trouble. 80% of the game takes place at 5v5 and it's probably not a good sign to be getting outplayed this badly.
