🧊Thursday, January 29, 2026 Update 🧊 As much as we are ready to get back in school, we simply have too many roads throughout the district that are unsafe for buses, students, and staff to travel. We will be closed tomorrow, Friday, January 30, 2026.

Wednesday, January 28th, Afternoon Update: Unfortunately, current road conditions throughout the district are unsafe for buses, students, and staff. As such, MSD will be closed on Thursday, January 29, 2026. Hopefully, we can return to school on Friday.

‼️Tuesday, January 27, 2026 Update ‼️ Due to poor road conditions and accumulated ice, Magnolia School District will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28. Updates will be given as soon as decisions are finalized for Thursday, January 29th.

‼️ Basketball Update ‼️ Regularly scheduled basketball games for tomorrow (Tuesday, January 27th) have been rescheduled to Friday, January 30, 2026, at DeQueen with game times beginning at 4:30 PM. The Thursday games will continue as scheduled. ❤️🐾🏀

Based on the current forecast, Magnolia ISD expects to operate on a normal schedule tomorrow (Fri., Jan. 23, 2026). A decision regarding Monday will be based on actual road conditions. Friday’s varsity game against Camden Fairview has been bumped up to 4:30 PM at Camden.
