gZama Everyone!!
What I like about @zama’s staking model is how intentionally fair it feels.
Operators stake $ZAMA to run core infrastructure and earn rewards funded by protocol inflation, starting at 5% and adjustable through governance.
Rewards aren’t distributed in a single pool.
They’re first split by role sequencers, coprocessors, and KMS nodes reflecting actual network responsibilities.
Within each role, rewards scale with the square root of stake, not raw stake size.
This reduces dominance by large players and keeps incentives balanced.
Operators then choose how to share rewards with their delegators.
That creates competition based on performance and transparency, not just capital.
The result is a staking system that rewards real work.
And one that actively promotes decentralization and long-term network health.
