The cost of impatience in trading isn’t always obvious in the moment. It’s in the trade you entered too early because you didn’t want to miss out. The setup you didn’t fully wait for, but convinced yourself was “close enough.” That extra trade you took just because price was moving. At the time, it feels harmless. Even justified. But when you look back, you start to see it clearly. Most of the damage didn’t come from the market… it came from rushing it. Patience can feel uncomfortable, almost like you’re being left behind. But more often than not, it’s the discipline that keeps you in the game.
