Add a shooting range and advanced tutorials. Then put links to partnered content creators you can access in game off of thise tutorials to access more tutorials. You don't need a whole as mode for player On boarding. That is the issue. The pve argument can come another time

I probably come off as some elitist in this thread, but Im also the same person who gets anxious with PvP games. Marathon happened to pull me in hard enough to stop caring about my anxieties and just *play*, as I did with Halo back in the day. Once you pass that, you're golden.

People also talk about PvE being for onboarding but Imma be real with you; bots are not good onboarding in a game where players are kings. Learning on the fly in a high pressure environment is a very useful method. You're playing on the game's terms, not yours.
