Earth just experienced a flank hit of a #CME launched on Aug 23rd with perfect southward Bz field! However, it's not likely to continue into the night for Europe. Total field 15 nT, Dst around -100 nT, much weaker than Mother's Day event, slightly weaker than event on Aug 17th.
