Bhai, all 3 umpires unanimously inspected the ball, agreed it was deliberately altered, awarded 5 penalty runs + changed it. Match referee is there too. PSL’s ideal window is from the second week of February to the third week of March. Holding it in April in 2025 and 2026 was understandable due to ICC events in the Feb-March period, along with Ramadan. Looking ahead, there are no ICC men’s events scheduled in that Feb–March window over the next 4-5 years and Ramadan is gradually shifting toward early February. While a few days of Ramadan will still overlap with this period, a window around February 20 to March 25 appears optimal in 2027 both in terms of weather and player availability particularly for English players who have traditionally been part of the PSL when it hasn’t clashed with the county season. Having said that the players roster for 2026 is still very good. With the likes of Steve Smith and Glenn Maxwell joining the tournament for the first time, PSL will surely get some good audience.
