@Blacmagiccat Interesting! IP wise, 2077 sold roughly as much as Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Edgerunners was a critical darling for Netflix, and both a new game and anime season are on the way - plus the IP has a history with 2020, Red, etc. There's a ton to draw on and lots more coming.

@MaindeckGames Wish we even had a store like you guys by us. Best we have is Valhalla in Madison, and I gotta drive a little over an hour just to play at a shop. I'm in the Milwaukee which is huge and has 8+ card shops. None of them carry GA. Gotta drive 5 hours to Michigan for Regionals. Sigh

It's totally a first world problem, but the prices for flights from the US are absolutely killing competitive TCG travel right now. We're just about out of the "you probably already booked this flight" period and I expect to see some real hits to attendance going forward. 🫤

Wizards needs to view organized play as a long term investment in the game. Yes, Commander is king at the moment, but who knows what the game will look like in 5 or 10 years? Who would have predicted Commander's rise 15 years ago? More support for 1v1 competitive play seems like a great hedge against an unknown future.

@MaindeckGames Maybe we can get some events that aren't all placed along the west coast then. LA into Vegas felt really bad for anyone anywhere else in the US outside the CA area. We had Chicago when, 2 years ago? Texas is hardly any better for someone like myself in WI.

Meta Update video for @grandarchivetcg should be out on Thursday! Really excited about this one, the meta has a wide spread of good decks and I'm excited to see how players tackle it once it's all laid out. IMO there's a good argument to take at least 6 diff decks to EU Nats!

I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE THIS 😱 Screwed up NA Nats but LUCKILY managed to win Ascent Las Vegas Finally I experienced the other Greatest Card Game Community ever. Everyone is so nice and I really enjoyed playing all 3 days in the event. Happy to have made a lot of friends 😁.
