Kickapoo Nation School hasn’t fielded a football team in 11 years but tonight that changed. Clifton Clyde JV hosted the Kickapoo Nation School for a game tonight in Clyde, Kansas in their first football game since 2012. Kickapoo Nation School is located in Powhattan, Kansas about one hour North of Topeka and had an enrollment of 30 kids last school year. It is the sole tribal school in the state of Kansas. The school is 6 miles north of the Kickapoo Indian Reservation. After the game the players introduced themselves to each other and took this photo. So awesome to see! #sportsinkansas

Talk about a pillar in a Community! This man has served our area for 30+ years as apart of local Sheriffs officers. Served through cancer treatments truelly an inspiration to all of us whom have went through his D.A.R.E programs and watched as he piloted us to ballgames.
