@TheHonkDaddy true. maybe there's a way to nuance these polls more than just clicking a thumbs up or thumbs down. a multi-step process with captcha confirmation that would prevent bot farming.

i dont mind the concept or implementation of community notes, but they need to be faster. damage is done by the time they appear. without fact-checkers, perhaps a live accuracy poll of the most popular community note would do the trick. that’s essentially reddit.

In about 18 hours I’m going to have the “lock in” of my life. 11 hour flight to landing in LA, home (hopefully) via fringes of evac zones, collecting my wife’s wedding dress and our family heirlooms before evac’ing myself 6 hours east. Should be quite a day.
