He has been very publicly vocal on social media in disagreeing with Lammy on the issue of Jury trials - but had hoped he had settled.

It will be interesting to see how he handles it. Because he’s made a biased tv programme just before the council elections. To gain some credibility as a neutral journalist he should do something more than double down.

Absolute garbage @lewis_goodall - the press attempted to hound him out, and he (and the Labour Party) rightly refused. Every single ounce of the hate for Starmer, the story line about how unpopular he is, has been manufactured by the press and become self fulfilling. All of it.
