Enugu, Here we come!
ECOWAS in Conjunction with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the collaboration of the Government of Enugu State, will be holding a one day workshop on the modalities for participation in the ECOWAS Trade Liberalisation Scheme.
This is a beneficial scheme for manufacturers, SMEs, entrepreneurs, cottage industry proprietors, banks, wholesalers, retailers, etc.
The ECOWAS Trade Liberalization Scheme (ETLS) is designed to promote free trade among the 12 member countries of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). It works by removing customs duties and eliminating non-tariff barriers on goods originating within the region, which is determined by a local content criterion of at least 60%.
The scheme guarantees unhindered market access and the free movement of goods within the West Africa sub-region.
At this event will learn how to qualify and maximize the benefits of this scheme, and how to obtain the ETLS Certification ( Certificate of Origin) in an engaging and entertaining atmosphere.
It will be worth your while!
