With Saudi and ESHUB LANs over, I fear it’s finally my time to take a step back from the women’s scene and competitive cod as a whole. This scene and the people in it have held such a special place in my heart, it got me through the worst years of my life and given me opportunities I could only have dreamed of. This year has been the best and worst for me in this scene, worked hard for an incredible opportunity in Riyadh which was tainted so much for us leading up to and during the event that it felt disappointing and ruined, I hope one day we can talk about what actually happened here, at no fault of the Saudi Esports Federation. I really hope they continue to provide opportunities for all the ladies still competing, it’s a lifeline alongside Hannah at Sakura who I’ve seen work her arse off since Vanguard (probably before this) to make the EU women’s scene what it is today. With struggles outside of our control at both LANs, it feels like it just wasn’t meant to be for me. I’ll still be about because I can’t stay away, but for competing and trying to make something as a female in the scene, I think that’s me done. Wishing all my ladies success, I hope the opportunities keep coming for you, you all work so hard. Thank you to everyone who has been apart of and supported me on the journey 🤍
