i’m back in biz class but no one - including me - can tell look at my seat look at it does it look like i’m having a jolly good time in business class to you? NO it does not. you know what regular business class people can do that i cannot? spread their legs by 12 inch. or lie down. or watch a movie. or put their head on a pillow you know what i can do that people in business class can’t do? kiss the person to my left AND to my right on the cheek while having my seatbelt on, that’s how squeezed together we are european business class is simply economy class with an extra empty seat between you and the person next to you. and i wonder why. why not remove the middle seat and give us a comfy seat it’s legit not possible for anyone in europe to fly comfortably on a commerical plane. which got me thinking, isn’t this a market gap? you could be the ONLY airline in europe to offer a regular biz class seat and all rich people would travel with your airline. i flew from singapore to bangkok a few months back and some gorgeous young asian baddie was serving me delicious lobster roll but when i travel the same distance (2 hrs) from switzerland to madrid, i need to have my right knee tilted inwards so the drinks cart doesn’t hit my knee again europeans truly embrace poverty with every breath. i would hit the arm rest in outrage but business class arm rests in europe are made out of METAL and have no polstering, so i will just swallow my pain in silence and go to my happy place in my head, which is business class in singapore airlines the only solace i have is this tiny piece of chocolate for ants they generously distributed to us business class people. i’m not joking, i don’t think the plebs in economy even got that.
