The interest in live stream access of MO Senate floor debates must be for purposes other than transparency. The public already has audio access to their live debate. If the content of debate is the point, it’s already available. I listen often. What I’ve witnessed in the House and elswhere is the desire to use video for grandstanding, political hits, and general gotcha’s on social media. These purposes don’t contribute to the deliberative process. All you actually need to stay informed/inform citivens is already available. This citizen doesn't need live stream for transparency...I simply need to listen to debate and read bills/amendments/vote results, all of which are already possible.
