Lizzie story time: my family used to raise chickens and roosters, one time when I was 7 I hopped out the shower just to see the rooster in the bathroom with me cuz my mom forgot to close the back door. I tried sneaking around it but it jumped and scratched me bad from shoulder to hip. Obviously I start crying like a bitch and run to my parents and my mom felt awful but told me that the rooster is heavily territorial and when it got into my territory and attacked me while vulnerable it crossed the line. So she told me to get my shoes and jacket on and to tell the rooster to be nice, if it attacked again smack the fuck out of it. So I went out, wagged my finger at the rooster and called it a meanie, and when It charged me I just kicked the fucker in the face. Never did that rooster attack or chase me again. A fox got it in the following months unfortunately. I miss that bird.
