@AdamJam77714092 Hi mate, very very hard question to answer. So many things to consider, but usually I would be letting a little more line out on the spomb just to compensate for the wind! But as I say mate sooooooo many things to think about and there is no right or wrong answer

@MakerTom hi mate just quick question if you had a cross wind and fishing at say 100yards how much extra would you add to your rods and spod to still hit the same spot? Cuz of the bow in your line from the wind? Thanks

A solid trip last week, nice to finally see the days drawing out and daffodils 🌼 shooting! Last 2 weeks angling…..4 venues….many carp including 14 30s and a 40 💪🏼

One subtle show in amongst a group of coots was all it took…..well below zero at night but accurate baiting kept them bobbins bouncing, a cold water December 40lb 4oz mirror 💪🏼

40lb 14oz of Cotswolds finest fully scaled!!!! Mission complete and undoubtedly the best looking carp I’ve ever caught!!!

A massive contrast in weather from last week to this week, one of 19 from a mental session on my syndicate last Monday to Thursday, this one 33lbs..one of 6 30s topped off by the lakes big fully at 40lb 14oz (pics to follow 👀)

It’s only been a few years since my last tweet 🤦‍♂️……a uk 50 caught the other week from b1 at 51lbs 12oz!!!!!

Fishing on Oxlease at Linear after a 24hr tuition with @MakerTom and had a screaming take on the left rod. Ending up with a lovely mirror at 28lb. I would thoroughly recommend anyone thinking about a tuition to book ASAP with Tom. He has made a massive difference to my angling 🎣
