We're Back... Apologies for the delayed update We will be opening this week Thursday 14th of April the Mini Makerspace to our subscribed members! Then to general public access from Thursday 21st of April. This temporary space is located in the WEA classroom designated G11.

That's a wrap at 100 Franklin Street! Building emptied, sign down and keys handed over. Thanks to all the volunteers that put in a back-breaking amount of work to move the entire content of Makerspace. This is, without doubt, a community-owned and operated space.

Hi Makers, Sunday 20th of March 2022, is the last official day opening day before the pack down at our 100 Franklin St location. We have had an amazing learning journey at this site, but we are also looking forward to the next chapter moving to the WEA.

Check out the LED sign! This was put together by Heidi, one of our new volunteers, and assisted by other volunteers along the way. It is almost 100% recovered parts made in-house at the Makerspace.

Hi Makers, Small change to the hours today, we will be opening to all from 1 pm - 5 pm with Peter, Stewert, and Wanye giving their time. For those doing the Woodworking Induction today, that will still be from 10:30 pm until 1 pm. Once that is finished the space will open.

Hi Makers, Unfortunately due to the availability of volunteers with the impacts of our current COVID surge, we have had to make the decision to keep Makerspace Adelaide closed today. We apologise for the inconvenience and will be open again Saturday from 10am - 5pm.

Give Away! We have a load of cardboard tubes that are sitting in our workshop for creative projects so come and grab some, they are roughly 1400mm long and 90mm wide. We are open 10 am - 5 pm today and tomorrow or again next week. We will update you when they are gone...
